Workforce Development Workshop-“Applying and Preparing for the Future”

About: Co-authored workshop with Martina Malone, MBA. The comprehensive presentation was designed to empower students and enhance their chances of finding a well suited job post graduation. Through the interactive presentation and resume review session, participants were able to strengthen their confidence going into interviews, while also learning valuable career tips to succeed in an entry level position. We incorporated practical, industry specific content and real world examples to ensure a hands-on learning experience. Overall, co-facilitating this workforce development program at my alma mater was a fulfilling experience, highlighting the importance of continuous learning and skill development in today’s growing job market.

-Presentation included a PowerPoint, excel sample budget, example resume and workshop, interview question handout with additional website career resources.
-Attendance doubled nearly 50% from 2020 in person workshop to 2021 virtual workshop.
